ABOUT

Farmer Query System (FQS) is a mobile app based remote consultation service where user (farmer or infomediary) can place queries. An agricultural expert provide appropriate and unbiased recommendation via phone call and SMS to farmer’s phone.

SMART BRANCH QUERY WITH IMAGE CAPTURE

FQS Smartphone application captures farmer’s need systematically regarding the specific problem. In addition, the photo of the problem helps agriculturist make holistic assessment.

PHONE CALL & SMS BASED RECOMMENDATION

Expert will call directly to farmer to provide the solution of his/her query and send the jest of the solution as SMS on his phone.

ABOUT

Activity recording and performance tracking App for Field Extension Agents i.e. Sub-Assistant Agriculture Officer (SAAO) or Field Agents of Agro Companies. Using an app Extension Agents easily log in their daily visits or services provided to the farmers digitally based on automatic scheduling in their phone App. Supervisors can monitor and assign activities to the Field Agents.

AUTOMATIC SCHEDULE GENERATION

The mobile app automatically generates visit/activity schedules for Extension Agents.

REAL TIME MONITORING OF EXTENSION AGENTS’ ACTIVITY AND PERFORMANCE

Supervisors of Extension Agents can monitor performance of Extension Agents under his/her supervision and also do trend analysis.

ABOUT

SHUFOLA is a highly localized agriculture advisory service that combines crop management practice with weather condition. Based on their crop, variety, growth stage and weather condition, farmers receive customized and actionable advisory via SMS and Voice Message in local dialect to basic phones. For observed weather data Automatic Weather Stations (AWS) are used and for forecast data Weather Research and Forecasting Model (WRF) output is used. mPower partnered with Save Earth Climate Services (SECS) for providing this AgroMet service.

AUTOMATED DISSIMINATION SYSTEM

The service platform is designed in a way that it automatically triggers messages for relevant farmers taking into consideration farmer information including crop, variety, growth stage etc. and weather information.

EASILY REPLICABLE AND LIGHT TOUCH OPERATION

The service can be replicated in multiple geographies and across multiple crops in a very short span of time and its operation does not require heavy engagement of human resources.

ABOUT

Geopotato is a geodata driven decision support system (DSS) that provides early alert to registered farmers for spraying preventive fungicide via SMS and Voice Message three (3) days prior to a possible late blight attack. GEOPOTATO DSS combines satellite image processing data of potato crop biomass growth and real-time weather data from Automatic Weather Stations (AWS) to determine conducive environment for late blight attack.

LOCALIZED DISEASE ALERT

It leverages satellite image processing for crop growth and real-time weather station data to provide preventive late blight alert at individual farmer level based on sowing week.

IVR BASED FARMER SUBSCRIPTION

Farmers can easily register for the service by calling to an IVR number.

GeoBis is a crop management advisory service for smallholder farmers. Using advanced crop model, spatial and weather data – GeoBis provides actionable advice to farmers including weather alerts e.g. heat stress, cold stress, foggy weather etc. and associated management practices. GeoBis is a proven service model that considerably improves agricultural productivity.
